CTU ends strike

After a second day of voting, the House of Delegates has voted to suspend the strike. They didn’t sign the proposed contract approved by the union bosses; but decided it was more important that 26,000 teachers and 350,000 students got back to school. The children are finally put first. Bravo CTU for finally doing the right thing, eventhough it might not have necessarily been entirely for the right reason. Union members will vote in two weeks if they approve the new contract.
